Cheswold Assist Little Creek on Marsh Fire

Little Creek - swold was alerted to assist station 54 (Little Creek) on a large marsh fire. Brush 43-0 responded and fought fire for several hours along side several other companies from Kent County. It has been very dry this summer so please comply with the statewide burn ban.

Motorcycle Accident Sends One to ER

Kenton Road - swold was dispatched to the report of a motorcycle accident on Kenton Road near Seven Hickories Road. Ambulance B-43 arrived on scene to find one patient lying on the ground. Engine 43-2 arrived and the crew assisted B-43 in packaging the patient. Medic KM 6 arrived and assisted with care. Cheswold's units cleared shortly afterwards. Assistant Chief Eisenbrey (43-17) had command.

Cheswold Fire Station - eral members attended CPR training at the firehouse.

MVC with Rollover on Kenton Road
8.2.2008
Kenton Road - swold was alerted on a hot Saturday for a motor vehicle crash with rollover on Kenton Road near Eden Roc. Units arrived to find a vehicle on its side with one patient. Trooper 4 (DSP helicopter) flew the patient to Christiana.

Units responding: B-43, 43-2, 43-6, 43-0, KM-6, and Trooper 4.

43-17 (Asst. Chief Eisenbrey) had command.

Cheswold Covers Townsend Again
Townsend Fire Station - the second time in less than a week, Cheswold was sent to cover New Castle County fire station 26. Townsend was on the scene of a fatal house fire west of town.
