On Friday, February 3, Cheswold was alerted to a trailer fire on West Denney's Road near Pearson's Corner Road.  A tanker company from Hartly (51) was also dispatched as part of our working fire SOP.  Command 43 arrived to find a single-wide trailer with fire showing from the Delta side.  A further size up revealed a venting propane tank and a large fuel oil tank exposed to fire.  Engine 43-2 arrived and placed a hose line in through the front door and a second hose to the Delta side to extinguish the attached porch and cool the fuel oil tank.  Tanker 51-5 arrived next and supplied 43-2 and their crew completed a search of the home.  The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes.

Units on scene: Engine 43-2, Rescue 43, Engine 43-4, Command 43, Tanker 51-5, Engine 51-2, Engine 51-3, and Air/Light/Rehab 51-10.  Kent County EMS and the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office also responded.
