Field Fire-West Denney's Road - West Denney's RoadThursday, July 2, 2015
On June 22, Cheswold was alerted for a "Bayhaler" on fire on West Denney's Road. Brush 43-0 responded with Chief Roy (43-15) on board. Upon arrival, he reported a large field fire that was actually in Dover's district. Dover was alerted, as well as Hartly to help contain the blaze. Chief Osika (46-15) from Dover arrived on scene and assumed command. Cheswold responded with 2 brush pieces, 3 engines, and an ambulance and were in service for several hours.
