Cheswold Fire Company was alerted to a motor vehicle crash with subjects trapped on the afternoon of April 13. Also on the dispatch were Medic KM6, KM5, and Trooper 4 (DSP Helicopter). Fire Chief Jamie Roy (43-15) arrived on scene and advised that there were subjects trapped in both vehicles. Engine 43-2 arrived on scene and began to stabilize the vehicles and begin extrication while the ambulance crew from A-43 and the paramedics initiated patient care. Chief Roy requested an additional ambulance from Hartly. Engine 43-4 arrived and assisted the crew from 43-2 in patient removal. Units responding: 43-2, 43-4, A-43, A-51, Medic KM 6, Medic KM 5 (Supervisor), and Trooper 4.
