Carbon Monoxide HIts Local Day Care - 717 Hatchery RoadThursday, July 2, 2015
At 0950 Hours, Cheswold was dispatched to Childrens Secret Garden for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm. 432 Responded with Chief Roy to find Chesapeake Utilities onscene with a heavy concentration of CO in the building. All children were evacuated prior to fire company arrival. All students and staff were transported to Kent General ER for evaluation. A total of 47 People were transported by 4 BLS units and 3 DART busses. Units Responding were 432, 436, A43,B43, A64, A63, A55, and A53. Medic Units responding KM 5, 6,7, 9, Tango 1, and Medic 609.
