Second close call in 2 days - Dover MeadowsThursday, July 2, 2015
Cheswold was about to participate in a fitness night with our fellow firefighters from Citizens Hose of Smyrna when we were dispatched to a house fire in the 100 block of Lakshman Trail in the Dover Meadows development. Upon arrival, the crew of 43-2 found another stove top fire that had been extinguished by the occupants. The kitchen was checked to make sure the fire was out and units cleared.
Assistant Chief Cave was in command.
Units responding: 43-2, 43-4, 43-6, 43-3, B-43, and the Fire Marshal.
