One trapped in early evening crash - McKee Road

Cheswold was dispatched to a single car MVC roll over with a subject trapped. 4340 (Ambulance Chief Whitby) went on scene and confirmed entrapment. 432 went on scene with 43-17 (Asst. Chief W. Whitby) as command and sized up the pick-up truck on its side. The vehicle was stabilized with step cribbing and struts. A hose line was pulled and at the ready if needed. 432 crew started removal of the roof. 436 went on scene and assisted with the extrication. The subjects arm was under the vehicle. A second strut was put into action and the vehicle was lifted off the subjects arm and was freed from the vehicle. The subject was flown to CER via Trooper4Heavy. Units on scene: A-43, 43-2, 43-6, 43-0, KM6, DSP Helicopter, & fire police. Assistant Chief Whitby had the command.
