Marydel Fire Company had responded to a car accident where the vehicle crashed into a house in Templeville, MD. They treated and airlifted one patient and then requested that the Kent County Special Operations Team respond to shore up the building before the car was removed. Cheswold, Hartly, and the team members from around the county were alerted. Special Operations 43-1, Air/Light 51, Rescue 51, and Tango 1 (Kent County EMS) arrived and began to size up the situation. It was decided to place a vertical shore in the living room and a raker shore against the "D" side of the house. At approximately 05:30, the car was pulled away and the structure stood firm so all of the special operations units were cleared.
