Tractor Trailer Fire at PPG - PPG Industries- CheswoldThursday, July 2, 2015
At 1057 Hours, Cheswold along with Ladder Companies 44 and 46, Rescue Companies 43 and 53 were dispatched to a Building Fire with Hazmat at PPG Industries. 432 Arrived to find a Tractor involved attached to a tanker in the rear of the building. 432 and Rescue 43 extinguished the fire and completed overhaul of the tractor. Rescue 45 was placed at the hydrant and crews assisted in overhaul. FM 12 is investigating the incident.
