Late Saturday night, the Kent County Special Operations Team was alerted to assist Camden-Wyoming Fire Company with a car into a building. This brought Cheswold and Hartly Fire Companies for the apparatus, as well as members of the team from around the county. When the units arrived, they were briefed by Deputy Chief Seaman that a car had gone through a building, the operator had been transported from the scene, and the car had been removed. The building, however, was unstable and it was located next to building that housed several children. The team assessed the building with the Kent County Building Inspector and came up with a shoring plan. The units were on scene for about an hour and a half. Units: Special Ops 43-1 & 43-10 from Cheswold and Rescue 51 & Air/Light 51 from Hartly.
