Cheswold was alerted for a car accident on Pearson's Corner Road, south of Rosedale Lane.  The caller reported that the driver was trapped in the vehicle and the vehicle was on fire.  Ambulance B-43 arrived to report that the vehicle was not on fire and the patient was out of the vehicle.  The crew from Rescue 43 arrived and assisted with patient packaging.  Fire Police from Cheswold took care of traffic.  As the patient was being loaded into the ambulance, Kent County EMS arrived and assisted with patient care during transport to the hospital.
