Just after noon on Sunday, Cheswold (along with Leipsic & Hartly) were alerted to assist Clayton with a building collapse.  Clayton arrived to find a two story building with a roof that had caved in.  Their units finished evacuating the building.  The special ops team arrived and supported Clayton in evaluating the structure and isolating the area.  The scene was eventually turned over the Town of Clayton and the property owner.

Early on Tuesday morning, the same units were alerted to assist the Seaford Fire Department in Sussex County on a vehicle into a house.  A tractor trailer had driven into the front of a house as part of a multi vehicle accident.  Seaford and Blades units worked to free the driver of the truck and extinguish another vehicle that was on fire.  Meanwhile, Sussex special operations units evaluated and shored the building.  Our units arrived to support them and stayed until the truck was removed from the house.
