Tower Goes to TownsendFriday, January 11, 2019
Around 2:30 Cheswold was alerted to assist Townsend on a building fire at Willey Farms on Dupont Parkway. Tower 43 and Engine 43-3 responded. Tower 43 set up out front and performed several tasks. Engine 43-3 shuttled water for several hours and its crew assisted in the rear of the building. Cheswold was part of the 2nd alarm assignment but that was upgraded multiple times bringing units from all 3 Delaware counties, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
