Cheswold Covers Dover Station 2 - Dover Fire Department Station 2Thursday, July 2, 2015
The Dover Fire Department requested 1 engine from Cheswold to cover the Kenton Road substation while they were battling a house fire on Hazlettville Road at 1922 hours. Engine 43-4 responded with 6 volunteers under the command of Assistant Chief Eisenbrey.
After arriving at station 2, 43-4 was sent to an automatic alarm at the Cannon Mills development near the fire scene. The alarm proved to be false and the engine returned to station 2 where it stood by until around 2130 hours.
