At 16:47, Cheswold was dispatched to a serious MVC at the intersection of Seven Hickories Road & Pearsons Corner Road. Engine 43-3 arrived on scene under the command of Chief Roy and found 2 vehicles about 250 feet apart with 4 patients. Kent County 911 advised Chief Roy that both Delaware State Police helicopters were responding and Leipsic (53) had been alerted for an additional ambulance. Cheswolds ambulance transported 1, Leipsic transported 2, and the last patient was taken by DSP helicopter.
