Chimney Fire - 584 Lynnbury Woods RoadThursday, July 2, 2015
On May 11 at 1859 Hours, Cheswold responded to a reported Chimney fire at an Amish residence on Lynnbury Woods Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Brown on E432 reported smoke coming from house and chimney. Crews from 432 pulled two handlines and 434 laid a 5" supply line up the driveway. Station 44 was alerted for a Tanker Company Assist. A crew laddered the roof while others went inside the house to extinguish the fire. The incident was placed under control at 1936 hours.
