House Fire on Main St. - CheswoldThursday, July 2, 2015
On October 6th at 1015Hrs, Cheswold was dispatched along with Tanker and Ladder Company from Citizens Hose and Rescue 45 to a "Working House Fire" on Main St Cheswold. 43-17 and 432 arrived moments later to find a 2 1/2 house with fire showing from the 1st floor on the Alpha side with extension to the 2nd floor and attic area. Crews from 432 and R43 made an aggressive interior attack. Citizens Hose ladder, tanker and engine arrived and started ventilation and overhaul. Rescue and engine 45 arrived and assisted in overhaul. Rescue 51 was called in for air and engine 46 was called in to assist in the extensive overhaul.
