Around 2:30 am, the Cheswold Fire Company was alerted to a car accident on Pearsons Corner Road just north of Dinahs Corner Road.  While enroute, the 911 center began getting calls reporting that the vehicle was into a house and was on fire so the incident was redispatched as a house fire.  Ambulance B-43 arrived and confirmed that both the vehicle and house were on fire.  The crew of Rescue 43 arrived under the command of Fire Chief Josh Dempsey and began to extinguish the fire.  Engine 43-2 arrived and the crew placed another hose into the house.
