Shortly after returning from the garage fire, Cheswold was alerted to a motorcylce accident on Commerce Street.  Ambulance B-43 was responding to another accident in Dover but was redirected.  When B-43 arrived at the scene they reported that the operator of the motorcycle was seriously injured and requested the Kent County paramedics and the Delaware State Police helicopter.  Rescue 43 arrived and began assisting with patient care.  A landing zone was established across the street from the Cheswold fire station.  The patient was loaded into B-43 and taken to the landing zone where the helicopter was used to transport.
