Cheswold Participates in Conference Training - Dover/ClaytonThursday, July 2, 2015
Four members of Cheswold participated in the Hands On Training (HOT) session held during the annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association conference. The first day was held a the Delaware State Fire School where lessons were taugh in search, rescue, forcible entry, hose line advancement, ladders, and other topics. The second day was held at an abandoned farmhouse where different scenarios were set up using smoke machines and dummys. Cheswold's crew took turns running these evolutions pairing up with crews from around the state.
